When I started at Toys 4 Life, one thing became immediately clear: this isn’t a company that views social responsibility as a box-ticking exercise. It’s woven into our DNA. The first half of 2025 has already seen remarkable achievements that demonstrate this commitment.
Did you know that toy poverty affects over 1 million children in the UK? That’s why we’ve made it our mission to expand our Toy Bank network to an impressive 148+ locations across England and Wales. These aren’t just collection points — they’re hubs of hope that ensure children from all backgrounds have access to play.

Each Toy Bank location partners with local family support services, ensuring donations reach those who need them most. The impact? Thousands of children experiencing the joy of a new toy, often for the first time.
When we decided to sponsor a local football team, we weren’t just putting our logo on shirts. We were investing in grassroots talent, community cohesion, and providing positive outlets for young people. The ripple effects of this support extend far beyond the pitch – from improved mental health to reduced anti-social behaviour in the communities we serve.
One of our most unique initiatives has been our partnership with the Border Collie Trust. By supplying reusable toys, we’re not only supporting animal welfare but also demonstrating that sustainability can take many creative forms.
These toys, which would otherwise have ended up in landfill, now provide essential enrichment for rescue dogs – improving their wellbeing and increasing their chances of successful adoption. It’s a perfect example of circular economy principles in action.
