We’re absolutely chuffed to bits at Toys4Life to announce our latest community project – we’ve partnered with Wednesfield FC to sponsor their adult first team tracksuits! It’s a brilliant opportunity for us to support local grassroots football while spreading an important message about recycling and sustainability.
Let’s be honest – community sport is the lifeblood of our neighbourhoods. That’s why local football clubs like Wednesfield FC are absolute treasures. Their adult first team serves as inspiration for younger generations, showing what dedication, teamwork and perseverance can achieve.
When the opportunity came up to sponsor the first team’s tracksuits, we jumped at the chance. Having watched the commitment of the players, coaches and volunteers, we wanted to give something back and help ease some of the financial pressure that grassroots clubs often face.

We could have sponsored any number of local teams, but there’s something special about Wednesfield FC. In fact, while our current sponsorship focuses on the adult first team, we’re already having exciting conversations about how we might extend our support to their children’s teams in the future. After all, as a toy retailer, nurturing the next generation of footballers feels like a natural fit!

Here’s the exciting bit – together with Wednesfield FC, we’re launching a community recycling campaign that we hope will make a real difference:
We’ll be setting up monthly donation days where families can drop off toys their children have outgrown. These will be weighed and part of the money raised will be sent back to the club. So clear out those toy boxes – that forgotten Peppa Pig could make another child very happy!
